This Senior Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, planning, and budgeting within the Endodontics Product Business Unit, Healthcare Specialties Group. The individual will manage the consolidated reporting and analysis of monthly and quarterly accounting close for all businesses within the overall Endodontics portfolio. Responsibilities also include partnering with senior leadership to support future growth opportunities through the preparation of key models and analytics. Provide a detailed analysis of results to senior management.
Pro-actively analyze profitability, sales growth, headcount, and expenses, investigate unusual items, and prepare monthly performance reports to management. Provide recommendations to management based on sound financial understanding of each P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow effect on business decisions.
Oversee the annual budget submission process, supporting the management team and subsidiary businesses by providing in-depth operating budget analyses.
Provide financial leadership and controllership for existing Endodontics groups and new groups as they are created, partnering with local business leaders to identify key risks and opportunities.
Assist in the planning and execution of onboarding newly acquired businesses into Henry Schein financial reporting systems as well as tracking acquisition-related synergies.
Participate in special projects as needed.
3 or more years of management experience preferred, BSc in Finance or Accounting required, and MBA preferred.
Strong commitment to financial accuracy and data integrity is required.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft products, specifically Excel, required.
Outstanding independent decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to plan and manage complex and successful projects; understand available resources, develop timelines, budgets, and assign areas of responsibility.
Lead teams to achieve company goals and solve complex business issues in creative and effective ways.
Communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders.
