The IN Devices marketing team is seeking a customer‑obsessed Art Director who will drive the creative vision and visual identity for marketing campaigns and product launches across the Devices Retail ecosystem. The role bridges conceptual storytelling with customer‑focused design, balancing big‑picture strategy with execution across digital, print and physical media. It functions as the creative operational backbone of the organization, working with agencies and a team of freelancers to lead creative alignment with cross‑functional teams. The Art Director ensures consistent brand communications and seamless execution across a complex retail landscape covering online A‑in retail, Quick Commerce partners and offline stores.

The incumbent will build new or extend and scale existing creative direction for all new product launches and deals events (such as Prime Day, Independence Day and Diwali Sales, as well as category‑specific shopping events). They also own the on‑brand conception, development and production of other marketing and brand campaigns for Devices brands, balancing global brand guidelines with regional needs, and connecting output to broader organizational strategy. They partner with marketing teams to identify opportunities to enhance customer experience through impactful storytelling across channels. They work closely with creative teams across EMEA, Brazil and APAC on international campaign and event activations and scaling opportunities, including AI.

The ideal candidate can think and act both strategically and tactically, has high customer obsession, and consistently demonstrates judgment to define and defend creative strategy. They are collaborative, resilient, thoughtful, an effective communicator and capable of handling multiple projects at once.

Key responsibilities

Lead visual concept development and campaign design across business inflection points (product launches, events, other marketing and brand activations) for Echo, Fire TV, Kindle and across the Devices retail ecosystem.

Ensure global brand consistency in messages and tone across customer touchpoints.

Independently manage, plan, coordinate and execute creative workflows by working with cross‑functional stakeholders – internal Devices teams, IN teams and international teams.

Partner closely with Marketing, GTM and International Creatives to build scalable and cohesive creative processes and solutions.

Plan work allocation with available resources, set processes like design automation, and establish design request and delivery flow with stakeholders.

Present new concepts proactively, experiment with and scale AI tools, and establish guidelines and best practices across Devices teams worldwide.

About the team
The Amazon Devices Sales & Marketing team in India is driving an exciting charter of building the brands (Fire TV, Echo, Alexa, Kindle) while creating new categories such as streaming media sticks, voice/smart home assistants and e‑readers. We partner with teams in India (Stores, Prime, Pay, Events, Homepage) and work closely with global and international teams to build and scale these categories in India. The focus of the organization is to create awareness and consideration for these new categories, enticing customers with category benefits and inspiring them to upgrade their homes.

Basic qualifications

5+ years of design experience.

Available online portfolio.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) on macOS.

Experience analyzing performance data and usability metrics to evaluate creative effectiveness.

Excellent communication skills and program/project management skills.

Experience with AI tools for asset generation and creative adaptation at scale.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with e‑commerce, search, social and other major application types and their UX patterns.

Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touch points on different platforms and devices.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritization, planning and task delegation.

Ability to think and react in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment.

Proven ability to manage large and complicated projects and lead cross‑functional teams.
