Ph3Business Development Director, LE/GE, GTS /h3 pJoin to apply for the bBusiness Development Director, LE/GE, GTS /b role at bGartner /b. /p h3About the role /h3 pBusiness Development Directors are responsible for prospecting companies that are not presently active clients of Gartner, within an assigned geographical territory. The purpose of the role is to identify key buying centres to expand the net new client base. /p h3What you’ll do: /h3 ul liLeverage key best practices to drive and successfully sell new business opportunities /li liBuild and effectively manage a list of new individuals and new clients to drive business development /li liCollaborate with internal resources and external network to prioritize and penetrate key accounts /li liPrimary focus is on driving sales within net new logos / net new client accounts /li liUtilize account planning and time management tools to drive an increase of research revenue to an assigned quota /li liEstablish and maintain executive relationships with clients to become the trusted advisor /li liQuota responsibility aligned to the territory /li liHandover of clients to existing Account Executives within 30 days of closing, for continued Gartner service /li liMastery and consistent execution of Gartner’s internal sales methodology, products, and services /li liManage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis /li /ul h3What you’ll need: /h3 ul liConsultative sales experience in high technology (services or software) to large multi-national companies /li liAbility to build credibility quickly with new clients /li liProven experience in developing new business, by effectively building prospect lists and transitioning prospect companies to clients /li liProven experience in closing enterprise-wide complex sales solutions /li liAbility to comprehend and problem solve by thinking and acting quickly on your feet /li liStrong ability to influence others in the organization with no direct reporting relationship /li liAbility to articulate a strong value proposition at the executive level /li liComprehensive understanding of technology buying centres /li liExcellent presentation and communication skills at an executive level /li liFluent/Native German /li liFluent/Native English /li liBachelor’s or master’s degree – desired /li /ul h3What you will get: /h3 ul liCompetitive salary, generous paid time off policy, charity match program, and more! /li liCollaborative, team-oriented culture that embraces diversity /li liProfessional development and unlimited growth opportunities /li /ul h3Who are we? /h3 pAt Gartner, Inc.
