Location
The position is hybrid/remote friendly with a preferred location in the Metro Vancouver area, working in Pacific Timezone hours.
Role Overview
Senior Project Manager who builds strong, trusted client relationships and brings a passion for digital strategy, products, platforms and marketing. The role balances Agile best practices with flexibility, acts as a Scrum Master, manages budgets, timelines and client expectations, and guides teams as a consultant and problem‑solver.
Responsibilities
- Define and translate client requirements into actionable roadmaps and manage project execution.
- Conduct workshops and meetings for requirements gathering, design reviews, prototyping, testing, and stakeholder feedback.
- Apply Agile or hybrid methodologies to ensure efficient workflows across teams.
- Collaborate with Product Consultants, Client Services, and PMO to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Identify and address risks, balancing business and technical needs, and escalating issues when necessary.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and team members, providing updates on project progress and changes in scope.
- Maintain regular client engagement to ensure expected value delivery.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and monitor team morale.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Digital/Web Project Manager or similar role managing large teams in software development, web technologies, or eCommerce.
- Ability to manage multiple client requests in a fast‑paced eCommerce environment, with strong organisational skills and the capability to adjust priorities effectively.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and project management methodologies such as Agile, hybrid‑Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Familiarity with technical concepts and tools including AI, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, and platform integrations.
- Experience with headless implementations of eCommerce platforms (CommerceTools, BigCommerce), CMS (Contentful, Contentstack), Loyalty (Talon.one, EagleEye), Identity (Stytch, Okta), and Personalization (Ninetailed, Segment).
- Proficiency with project management software and collaboration platforms.
- Experience with Scrum teams and/or Scrum Master certification.
- Technical background in Computer Science is a plus.
