Senior Copywriter
Camper is a contemporary footwear brand based on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca. We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Copywriter to join our Copy team. Reporting directly to the Lead Copy Manager, you will be instrumental in executing Camper’s brand voice, translating strategic direction into high-impact, quality copy across all our global channels. This role demands excellence in daily writing, a deep understanding of the brand's aesthetics, and the ability to deliver autonomous, functional, yet highly creative copy.
Mallorca, Spain (Hybrid: 4 days in-office / 1 day remote) Reports to: Lead Copy Manager
Your core focus is on execution, creative output, and maintaining high quality across all brand touchpoints:
Write compelling, accurate, and concise copy for daily business needs, ensuring high quality and timely delivery across:
Digital Content (newsletters, social media, and camper.Campaign & Storytelling: Own the creative copy for seasonal and brand campaigns, working closely with the Content and Product Departments to develop and execute cohesive brand storytelling.
Quality Control & Editing: Sub-edit copy across all channels, ensuring the brand voice is consistent. Actively participate in creative workshops and attend regular meetings with cross-functional teams (Digital, E-commerce, Product) to align content and drive consistent messaging.
English Language Authority: Serve as the internal advisor on English grammar and copy best practices.
Performance Focus: Ensure content is optimized for various platforms, including writing with an awareness of SEO best practices.
Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal skills, impeccable spelling, and grammar.
Experience & Autonomy: Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Copywriter, ideally within the fashion, luxury, or consumer brand sector. Project Management Acumen: Excellent time-management and organizational skills with proven experience in managing tight deadlines and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
Proven experience writing SEO-optimized copy.
Solid understanding of how to balance brand-building storytelling with performance-oriented copy that drives commercial goals.
A background in journalism or creative writing.
Experience in international or multilingual brand environments.
