Role Overview
As a Regional Category Manager, reporting to the Regional Procurement Lead in Europe, you will oversee procurement activities within the Marketing, Media & Events sub-category, managing supplier relationships and executing strategic sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage suppliers within your designated sub-categories, including Supplier Relationship Management.
2. Gather market intelligence, benchmark data, and conduct supplier scouting.
3. Lead RFX processes (RFQ, RFI, RFP, e-auctions) and negotiate with suppliers.
4. Handle end-to-end contracting processes, including legal alignment.
5. Provide regular reports on value addition, upcoming projects, and compliance.
6. Execute category, supply base, and supplier strategies.
7. Develop networks inside and outside Signify to support strategy execution.
Qualifications
1. BSc/MS degree in a relevant field.
2. 3-6 years of relevant experience in procurement or category management.
3. Leadership in strategic buying and supply chain processes.
4. Market and technical knowledge relevant to procurement.
5. Ability to manage multiple stakeholder needs.
6. Strong data analysis skills.
7. Experience in multicultural and global cooperation.
8. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
