We are looking for Business Controllers to join our company within Spain and Portugal.
Being an Business Controller at H&M; means focusing just as much on business and profitability as on motivating your team to do the same.
At H&M;, you will play an important role within our Controlling Team. You will be responsible for the whole process - from analysis and setting targets to follow-up and profitability, everything you do will be about creating great results and making great business!
You will support our Area Teams and will be a partner for teams as a Human Resources, Visual Merchandising. Additionally, you will have the chance to work cross functionally with other departments such as Store Operations, Merchandising and Logistics.
As a Business Controller you will:
- Together with the Central Controlling team you are putting strategies, in regards to operational controlling, into practice through a strong collaboration with Area Controllers
- Be a key player for the annual Budget and goal setting process
- Continuously follow up on attainment of Budgets and Goals by understanding deviations
- Secure strong execution by creating tools, implementing new strategies, aligning Store Plan, scheduling, and contract structure continuously to maximize selling and profit.
- Acting as leader with strong analytical focus and knowledge-based approach. You support Area Teams and Area Controllers to enable Great Customer Experience and increase the profitability mindset of the organization
**Qualifications**:
Besides your personality we see that you have:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with economics, business, engineering, mathematics, and Computer science major
- Fluent in English and Spanish both written and speaking
- Proven organizational and top notch analytical skills
- A strong motivation to constantly improve
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel in advanced level and Power BI preferred
- Versátil to relocate within Spain and Portugal
- Willingness to travel (50 % of time)
