Reporting to the Operations Manager, Campus Services, the Supervisor, Campus Store & Course Materials is responsible for achieving goals through effective supervision of Sheridan's Campus Store, retail-on-campus, and online stores. The incumbent leads, procures, and develops retail products aligned with College and department objectives. They manage multiple retail locations and product categories, optimizing space, inventory, sales, and service delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

* Developing strategic and operational plans, aligning resources to meet priorities.
* Providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors.
* Identifying sales, collaboration, and promotional opportunities to generate revenue across campuses.
* Planning and purchasing Course Materials for resale in-store and online, developing an annual procurement plan with stakeholders.
* Reviewing inventory levels to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and relevance to customer needs.
* Managing vendor relationships and maintaining security of retail goods according to loss prevention policies.
* Allocating resources efficiently, monitoring financial performance, and reporting to the Director.
* Monitoring profit margins, expenses, inventory turnover, and benchmarking metrics.
* Implementing marketing, communication, and operational plans effectively.
* Assisting in preparing and updating budgets and operational plans.
* Ensuring security and accuracy in POS procedures and financial reconciliation.
* Leading year-end inventory counts and financial data reconciliation.
* Providing leadership and support to staff and student employees, fostering growth and collaboration.
* Managing HR activities in accordance with policies and collective agreements.
* Collaborating with the Director to develop strategic plans for course materials aligned with college goals.
* Performing additional duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

* 3-year college diploma or university degree with at least 5 years of experience.
* Experience in marketing or entrepreneurial initiatives with stakeholder engagement.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills.
* Operational leadership experience.
* Financial accounting and analysis expertise.
* Knowledge of Course Materials, Retail POS systems, and Bookware.
* Experience working in a post-secondary environment with senior staff, faculty, and students.
