**Position**:**Being part of LOEWE **gives you the opportunity of learning new things every day and working with people passionate about what they do, in a** **fast-paced environment and in a company full of ambitions.We are looking for a **Modelist** (Leather Goods) to join our Development Atelier based in Getafe (Madrid)Key Functions of the role- Make digital patterns based on designs or physical samples- Define datasheets indicating the "step-by-step" for making the sample (which will help to build the sample and calculate the estimated production time).- Validate the pattern and the datasheet before making the sample (e.G. build a physical sample if necessary).- Follow-up of the execution of the samples (internal or external workshop) and support in clarifying technical doubts related to the pattern.- Technical support in the countertype phase.- Validate the final sample from a quality point of view.- Identify and transmit the technical risk to the project manager and propose options or improvements.- Work on technical solutions and alternatives to respond to design needs and possible industrial casuistry.- Collaborate with the Industrialisation team.Main interlocutors:- Prototyping Team- Cutting Centre- Design team- Project managers- Manufacturers (internal or external)- Industrialisation team**Profile**:What is important for the role- At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar position (ideally if you have worked for luxury brands).- CAD skills (Comelz, Autocad, or similar software).- Fluent spoken and written English and/or French- Spanish, at least basic knowledge- Good communication skills and good team player**Additional information**:About us:Created in Spain in 1846, LOEWE approaches 175 years as one of the world’s major luxury houses.
