We are currently looking to hire a **Ship Broker** with experience in negotitation activities for our Chartering Division in Madrid.
Principal functions:
- Fixing dry cargos in all size of vessels by negotiating and dealing the contracts / charter parties by coordinating with both Charterers and Shipowner
- Expand and develop new customers / Cold - calling into target accounts
- Post fixing - follow up the operations of vessels previous fixed (i.e. monitoring vessel movements, demurrage calculations and claims follow up )
- Providing and accurate shipping information and preparing market report
- Travelling and attending meeting and other events to maintain and develop customer relationships

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Commercial flair and ambitious hunter with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong verbal and written language skills in English and Spanish
- Customer centric attitude, good listener and confident communicating and selling to international customers
- Empathy and proactive team players demonstrating commitment to our industry
- Multitask ability and not afraid of learning new things. Stay calm under pressure and always trying to find solutions
- Prior working experience is needed. Previous experience in same role may not be required, but previous maritime transport experience is a plus
