These services are built on a portfolio of world-class expertise covering customer experience and process management, digital solutions and cutting-edge technologies. /pp Headquartered in Madrid, Konecta delivers global revenues of €2 billion with more than 500 clients, covering some of the biggest names in telecoms, energy, banking, mobility, retail, and e-commerce. /p pb MISSION OF THE ROLE /b /p p We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technology Sales Executive – Data AI Solutions to play a strategic role in expanding our IT and digital solutions portfolio, with a focus on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud-based transformation services across the Retail, Energy, or Telecommunications sectors. /p p This is not just a sales role it is a strategic growth position that requires market insight, consultative acumen, and the ability to connect complex technological solutions with real business value. /p p The ideal candidate is proactive, highly motivated, and has extensive experience in selling IT and data-driven solutions, with a strong understanding of digital transformation and the technological ecosystems driving innovation in Retail, Energy or Telco industries. /p pb RESPONSIBILITIES /b /p pb1. New Business Development /b /pulli Identify, research, and target prospective clients through various channels. /lili Proactively generate and qualify leads, with a focus on net-new client acquisition and high-value opportunities. /li /ul pb2. Sales Strategy Execution /b /pulli Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with company growth objectives in digital, cloud, and data solutions. /lili Maintain a full pipeline across different stages of the sales cycle with consistent deal progression. /lili Take ownership of the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal, negotiation, and contract closure. /li /ul pb3. Customer Engagement Consultative Selling /b /pulli Conduct needs assessments and discovery meetings to understand client challenges, business goals, and digital maturity. /lili Position and tailor Data, AI, and digital solutions to meet client needs and drive measurable value. /lili Act as a trusted advisor to the customer, demonstrating an understanding of their business and articulating the value of our solutions clearly. /li /ul pb4. Cross-Functional Collaboration /b /pulli Work closely with pre-sales, technical consultants, solution architects, and delivery teams to design and validate proposed solutions. /lili Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns and events aimed at lead generation and brand awareness. /lili Coordinate with Operations and Delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and adoption post-sale. /li /ul pb5. Market Industry Insight /b /pulli Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to position Konecta’s offering effectively. /lili Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product portfolio, internal processes, and relevant certifications in Cloud, AI, and Data Analytics. /li /ul pb6. Sales Reporting Forecasting /b /pulli Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of opportunities, activities, and customer interactions. /lili Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management. /lili Track key sales metrics (e.g., conversion rates, sales cycle length) and identify areas for improvement. /li /ul pb7. Representing the Company /b /pulli Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings as required. /lili Promote our brand values, innovation culture, and commitment to digital transformation in every engagement. /li /ul pb REQUIREMENTS /b /p ulli10 years of experience in B2B sales in the IT/digital solutions, infrastructure, or software industry for the Retail / Energy sector or Telecommunication sector. /lili Experience with the company#39;s core technologies: BI, Big Data, and AI. /lili Experience in selling IT services, especially Big Data and AI. /lili Experience with technology solutions (software, cloud, data analytics, AI, and digital transformation). /lili Proven track record of new business acquisition and meeting/exceeding sales targets /lili Strong understanding of the IT market and digital transformation solutions /lili Familiarity with energy sector regulations, emerging trends in sustainability and digital transformation, and the compliance landscape around environmental standards, safety, and energy trading. /lili Familiarity with telecom regulations, emerging connectivity trends, and the evolving landscape of data privacy, security, and compliance /lili Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills /lili Self-starter with a proactive and result-oriented approach to sales /lili Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and translate them into business value /lili Fluent English /li /ul p We look forward to reviewing your application and exploring how your experience can contribute to our team’s success. /p
