The Role

We are looking for an HR Generalist who will report directly to the Head of HR and take full ownership of end-to-end HR operations in Spain .

This role will act as the local HR point of reference, overseeing people administration, Spanish labor law compliance, and recruitment activities, while actively supporting the business in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, autonomous, and business-oriented, with experience in SaaS, start-up or scale-up environments, and comfortable operating in rapidly evolving organizations.

Main Responsibilities

People Administration & Labor Law

* Manage the full employee lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, contract changes, terminations).
* Draft and manage employment contracts in compliance with Spanish labor law.
* Coordinate with local payroll providers and labor consultants.
* Oversee payroll, benefits, holidays, leaves, and absences.
* Monitor labor law updates and ensure company policies remain compliant.
* Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
* Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for the Spanish market.
* Partner with hiring managers to define needs and create job descriptions.
* Post job ads, screen CVs, conduct interviews, and coordinate selection stages.
* Manage offers and support the hiring process.
* Continuously improve recruiting processes and candidate experience.
* HR Operations & Business Support
* Provide day-to-day HR operational support to employees.
* Implement and enhance local HR processes.
* Collaborate with the broader HR team on cross-functional projects.
* Support performance management, training, and development initiatives.

Requirements

* 3–5 years of experience in HR Generalist or similar roles.
* Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law and people administration.
* Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
* Experience in SaaS, start-up or scale-up environments is a strong plus.
* Good knowledge of HR tools and ATS platforms.
* Experience using AI tools applied to HR processes (e.G. recruiting, CV screening, people analytics, HR automation).
* Ability to assess and implement innovative HR solutions to improve efficiency.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach.
* High level of autonomy and problem-solving mindset.

Languages

* Spanish: native or fluent.
* English: professional working proficiency.
* Italian: nice to have.
