**Job Description Summary**: As an Apprentice Field Service Engineer (FSE) for Life Care Solutions systems (LCS) you are the key point of contact for our customer. You will perform routine service preventative maintenance visits, respond to service calls and support the field team to drive customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.Position to be opened in Seville.Our Imaging products empower healthcare professionals to better see inside the body, which helps improve the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of disease. Our Imaging teams develop the equipment that scans over a billion patients every year, enabling us to improve lives in the moments that matter.Essential Responsibilities:- With mínimal supervision, as assigned, perform planned maintenance (PM), safety and environmental inspections and maintain effective customer relations.- Follow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol and complete necessary documentation.- Maintain daily communications with customers, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.- You may need to assist more experienced technicians and FSE’s on basic and complex repairs /resolution respectively.- Work as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area and document all actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule.- Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction.Please note this is a 12-month internship with GEHC.Qualifications/Requirements:- Engineering university Degree (biomedicine, telecommunications, electronics, industrial). *Completed in the past 5 years.- Proven experience performing in a compliance environment and working within code and procedures to ensure safe and effective operation of devices.- Proficiency in completing electronic documentation using PDA and computer skills.- Previous experience developing and maintaining good customer relations.- Willing to occasionally travel outside of assigned region plus a valid driving license- Spanish and English oral and written skillsDesired Characteristics:- Previous experience in a hospital setting.- Analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manager.- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process.GE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
