Overview
Cloud Security Engineer - Microsoft at Strada. We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with a strong Azure security background to design and enforce security controls across our cloud environments. You will be responsible for securing workloads, implementing security automation, and ensuring compliance using Terraform, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Entra, and Azure Monitor.
Responsibilities
* Security Automation: Implement and enforce security policies using Terraform and Azure Policy as Code
* IAM & Microsoft Entra: Define RBAC policies, Conditional Access, Just-in-Time (JIT) access, and Managed Identities
* Threat Detection & Response: Configure Azure Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Security Center, and SIEM tools
* Network Security: Secure Azure Virtual Networks, NSGs, Firewalls, Private Link, and DDoS Protection
* Monitoring & Incident Management: Set up Azure Monitor, KQL queries, and alerting mechanisms for security threats
* DevSecOps Integration: Embed security checks into Azure DevOps pipelines (SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning)
* Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other regulatory standards
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Strong / Demonstrable experience in cloud security engineering
* Expert knowledge of Azure Security controls, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Security Center
* Proficient in Terraform for security automation
* Strong understanding of IAM, Conditional Access, and Zero-Trust Security; Experience with Azure Monitor, SIEM tools, and security analytics
* Solid knowledge of Azure DevOps security best practices
