Your Role:
As Head of Finance, you will lead the global financial strategy, operations, and compliance for a high-growth fintech organization. You’ll work closely with the CEO and executive team to scale operations, ensure financial health, and enable long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and execute a financial strategy aligned with expansion goals in the U.S. and Europe Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial performance and risk Oversee audits, tax strategy, and ensure full regulatory compliance across regions
Financial Planning & Analysis Lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across revenue streams Monitor and optimize financial KPIs, including processing costs and customer profitability Identify cost-saving opportunities while supporting continued growth
Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to relevant regulations:
PSD2, PCI DSS, DORA, SOX, and U.S. reporting standards Implement robust internal controls and risk mitigation strategies Advise on legal, cross-border, and Private Equity compliance matters
Capital & Fundraising Strategy Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital Support equity and debt fundraising efforts and maintain investor relations Build strong banking and financial partnerships
Vendor & Partner Relations Collaborate with product and partnerships teams on vendor negotiations and financial terms Represent the company in strategic financial conversations with external stakeholders
Requirements
10+ years in financial leadership, ideally in fintech, payments, or SaaS Experience scaling companies in the U.S. and European markets Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and cross-border regulatory environments Knowledge of payment ecosystems, transaction flows, and revenue optimization models Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred Fluent in English;
Spanish is a plus
