Mission: You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.

About practical training:

* 6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2026

* Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)

* Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring

During your 5-month internship, you'll join our Quality department at the Airbus Illescas plant. You'll play a key role in supporting our manufacturing processes, getting a firsthand look at a wide range of activities.

This internship is a fantastic opportunity to tackle real-world challenges! You'll be involved in preventing and problem-solving activities that could include:

* Identifying and analyzing issues within our manufacturing processes.

* Developing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and quality.

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives aimed at making our operations smoother and more effective.

* Contributing to projects focused on digitalization and the deployment of new quality standards.

The specific problems you'll work on will be flexible and based on the department's needs, giving you a diverse and impactful experience.

Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student:

An Application of the Airbus Light Solving Method
This thesis project aims to apply the Airbus Light Solving (LS) methodology to a specific, real-world problem within the Quality department at the Airbus Illescas plant. The objective is to demonstrate effective and efficient containment, eradication, and prevention of a defined issue.
The project will follow the five core steps of the Light Solving approach:

* 1. Detect:

Identify a problem suitable for the LS approach based on its impact and complexity. This will involve defining a clear and specific problem statement using tools such as the 5W2H (What, Who, Where, When, Why, How, How Much) method.

* 2. Communicate:

Secure the necessary approval from the accountable leader to initiate the project and form a small, multi-functional team (MFT) to provide expertise.

* 3. Analyze:

Perform a detailed analysis of the problem to identify its root cause(s). This phase will utilize simple problem-solving tools as recommended by the M1012.1 method, such as a Factor Tree Analysis (FTA) or the 5 Whys.

* 4. Implement:

Define and implement corrective actions that are simple, rapid, and cost-effective to resolve the identified root cause. The implementation plan will include clearly defined owners, target dates, and status tracking.

* 5. Confirm:

Verify the effectiveness of the implemented solution to confirm that the problem has been successfully resolved. The project will conclude with a formal closure of the LS case and a documentation of the results.

The ideal problem for this project will be a minor or medium-impact issue that can be fully contained, analyzed, and resolved within a limited timeframe, demonstrating a practical application of the Light Solving method as an efficient problem-solving tool.
