This client is looking to hire a Sports Trader to join their team based in Valencia.Key ResponsibilitiesPrice, manage, and monitor pre-match and live sports markets for Mexico and SpainAdjust odds and limits in response to market movement, liabilities, and customer behaviourManage sportsbook risk exposure and ensure margin targets are metAnalyse betting patterns and identify irregular or suspicious activityContribute to market and product optimization, including leagues, bet types, and promotionsWork with internal teams to improve trading tools, processes, and automationStay up to date with sporting events, league developments, and local market trendsRequirementsProven experience as a Sports Trader within an iGaming or sportsbook environmentStrong knowledge of Spanish and Mexican sports markets, especially footballExperience with pre-match and/or in-play tradingExcellent numerical and analytical skillsAbility to make fast, confident decisions under pressureFluent in Spanish;
English proficiency requiredComfortable working evenings, weekends, and major sporting eventsNice to HaveExperience trading LATAM marketsKnowledge of player behaviour and local betting preferencesExperience with automated or semi-automated trading toolsDegree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
