Our client is an international company operating in the industrial sector, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and long-term customer relationships. Due to continued growth, the company is looking for an Accounting & Administrative Assistant with English to join its team in Valencia.


Role Overview

The Accounting & Administrative Assistant will support the finance and administration department in daily accounting tasks, invoice management, documentation, and administrative coordination.


This is a suitable role for someone with some experience in accounting or administration who is organized, detail-oriented, and willing to continue developing professionally within an international industrial environment.


Key Responsibilities

* Support day-to-day accounting and administrative activities.
* Register, review, and file supplier and customer invoices.
* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
* Support payment follow-up and invoice reconciliation.
* Maintain accounting records and documentation updated.
* Assist with bank reconciliations and expense control.
* Support monthly closing activities under the supervision of the finance team.
* Prepare basic reports and administrative documentation.
* Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify financial information.
* Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams in Spanish and English when needed.
* Support general office administration tasks related to the finance department.

Requirements

* Previous experience in accounting, finance administration, back office, or administrative support.
* Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge.
* Good level of English, both written and spoken.
* Spanish fluency required.
* Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, chemical, plastics, packaging, machinery, or technical environment will be valued.
* Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
* Experience using ERP or accounting software will be a plus.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and responsible person.
* Ability to work with numbers, documentation, and internal processes.
* Willingness to learn and grow within the finance area.


Nice to Have

* Vocational training, degree, or studies related to Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
* Experience with invoice processing, payments, collections, or administrative accounting.
* Knowledge of another European language.
* Previous experience in an international company.
