Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Buyer to join our Procurement team. The Site Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement process on-site, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials required for the site’s operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of purchasing processes, supply chain management, and vendor relationships.The scope of materials responsibility will be mechanical category.Responsibilities:- Manage procurement activities for the site, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials.- Work closely with internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, etc.) to understand procurement needs and priorities.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best possible terms and service.- Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers.- Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.- Monitor supply chain continuity, ensuring delivery on time and stock levels.- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.- Analyse and report on procurement performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.- Handle any procurement-related issues or disputes with suppliers.- Ensure that all products procured meet the required quality standards and specifications.Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.- Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management.- Technical interpretation of Drawings- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.- Fluency in English.- Familiarity with ERP systems.Why Join Us?- Permanent contract- Competitive salary- Opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.- Be part of a global organization with a strong commitment to customer-centricity, quality and performance.- Career development and growth opportunities.If you are passionate about procurement and looking to make an impact on our site’s operations, we would love to hear from you.
