Job Summary
The objective of Ericsson Consulting is to deliver engagements that generate value for our customers and enable greater value to Ericsson. We are looking for a highly experienced Techno-Operational Consulting Leader to lead the NW & BOS Transformation Consulting practice and be part of the Global Consulting Leadership Team that leads business and offerings across Ericsson.
Qualifications and Experience
* 15+ years of professional experience, including demonstrated ability to sell and deliver consulting projects.
* Proven capability to sell and deliver Core / Technology / Operational Consulting projects with a business mindset.
* Previous experience leading consulting business, practice and teams, including P&L accountability.
* Sound technical knowledge across Core, Cloud, RAN, Telco Orchestration, and B/OSS Transformation domains.
* Strong people and team leadership skills; ability to coach, enable individual development and grow teams.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, results‑oriented and commercial thinking.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Master’s in Business preferred.
* Certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, TMF TAM/SID, ODA highly desirable.

* Business leader with a strong impact on customers and senior executives.
* Sales leader with proven track record of engaging with clients, creating proposals and closing deals.
* Strategy leader with strong view on leading telecom trends and consulting value propositions / offers.
* Portfolio leader capable of identifying, crafting, selling and delivering consulting propositions.
* Team leader with proven track record of growing teams and managing senior 5G & Enterprise Strategy professionals; able to collaborate with peer consulting leaders worldwide.
Domain Expertise Areas
* Ansible, Orchestration & Automation transformation
o Good understanding of the autonomous networks e2e methodology and orchestration & automation transformation approaches.
o Practical experience of transformation delivery programs, including organizational, process, systems integration and operational transformation impacts.
* 5G Core and 5G Network
o Good understanding of 5G Core, deployment options (e.g., SA) and end‑to‑end technology evolution beyond Core.
o Strong understanding of business implications of 5G Core and technology roadmap, including monetization and use cases.
* Telco Cloud transformation – Both Virtualization and Cloud Native
o Good knowledge of cloud transformation challenges and industry approaches from technology and deployment perspectives.
o Practical experience of Telco Cloud Transformation programs and cloud operating models.
o Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and related operational processes.
o Expertise on the operational implications of moving 5G Core and other network elements to virtualized or cloud native environments.
* Operational transformation and operating models to support 5G evolution
o Strong competence in defining operational transformation approaches for evolution to 5G.
o Capability to define operating model aspects such as processes (performance, fault, assurance, automation, field services), metrics/KPIs and high‑level OSS systems (inventory, assurance, activation).
* Strong understanding of new Agile methodologies and DevOps WoW.
* OSS systems & support strategies
o Understanding of operational trends and system approaches (orchestration, automation, closed‑loop automation, microservices, analytics, policies).
o Awareness of the competitor vendor landscape and relative strengths/weaknesses with respect to Ericsson portfolio.
* Strong knowledge of standards such as TOGAF, ITIL and standard architectures (TMF TAM/SID, ODA).
* Supporting capability – Telco Cloud Technology
o Understanding of Telco Cloud technology trends (containers, microservices, MEC).
o Understanding of public cloud enterprise solutions and pros/cons for CSPs.
o Understanding of Telco Cloud reference architectures.
Responsibilities (Global Consulting Team Leader)
* Drive global P&L and define objectives of NW & BOS Transformation Consulting domain.
* Identify, develop and manage portfolio of leading NW & BOS Transformation Consulting offerings.
* Identify consulting opportunities by working with technical professionals – Sales and Solution Architects.
* Nurture and convert opportunities while contributing actively to consulting proposals.
* Guide / lead delivery of consulting projects / programs across the globe.
* Engage as a thought leader at CxO level.
* Lead NW & BOS Transformation consulting team comprising senior members.
* Manage stakeholders in consulting communities across geographies.
* Actively contribute outside your domain to reach overall business objectives.
Location & Travel
Primary country and city: India (IN) – Gurgaon. Opportunities globally; expected travel is 50% based on business needs.
