Job Description:
Our client is a GSSA based in Barcelona, specializing in Air Freight between the EU and China. We are seeking a results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager for Air Freight. The successful candidate will promote and sell air cargo services of represented airlines, focusing on routes between Europe and China. Responsibilities include expanding market share, building strong client and partner relationships, and optimizing capacity and sales performance.

2. Promote and sell air cargo services to freight forwarders, logistics agents, and direct clients.
3. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and revenue.
4. Identify potential customers, especially on Europe–China routes.
5. Negotiate rates and contracts to ensure profitable agreements.
6. Maintain strong relationships with clients, freight agents, and forwarders.
7. Monitor and report sales performance and KPIs.
8. Analyze market trends and customer needs to adapt strategies.
9. Manage flight capacity to optimize load factors.
10. Collaborate with airlines and logistics operators for cargo space allocation.
11. Optimize routing and space utilization on flights.
12. Customize solutions for customer inquiries and business opportunities.
13. Coordinate operations with airport handling agents for smooth cargo handling.
1. Qualifications & Skills:
2. Over 3 years of proven experience in Air Freight, preferably with GSSA and global air freight companies.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Deep understanding of Europe–Asia air cargo routes and market dynamics.
5. Ability to work independently and in multicultural teams.
6. Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
7. Based in Barcelona.
