We are looking for a professional with extensive experience in accounting management under Spain's General Accounting Plan (PGC), financial reporting, and a strong command of analytical tools. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the financial aspects of the business. Your duties will include preparing and analysing financial statements, supervising financial reporting, and collaborating on budgeting and financial control. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Marbella offices (on-site, not remote).
Requirements
- Strong command of the preparation and analysis of financial statements and financial reporting.
- Advanced analytical skills for decision-making and financial evaluation.
- Solid education and experience in finance and accounting.
- Effective communication skills, good time management, and strong attention to detail will be valued.
Responsibilities
- Accounting records and controls in accordance with Spain's General Accounting Plan (PGC).
- Preparation and analysis of financial reports.
- Management of reconciliations and accounting closings.
- Collaboration with the team to ensure the correct execution of processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Additional knowledge of financial management tools.
- Experience in international environments.
