The Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) area within BBVA's Engineering department is responsible for designing, supervising, and evolving the technological infrastructure that supports all bank systems, from core services to transversal solutions.
This infrastructure is managed under a service model, with the area overseeing, controlling, and ensuring the provider's service delivery aligns with agreed service levels and BBVA's strategic needs.
The mission is to guarantee the availability, resilience, security, efficiency, and scalability of IT services, leading technological transformation with a focus on resilience and operational excellence. The structure includes a global standards and governance framework with local deployment teams.
We are seeking a technical profile with proven experience in operating and supervising IT infrastructure services, with strong knowledge of key technological components and a focus on business continuity, resilience, and critical service management.
You will oversee critical third-party services, ensuring operational control and compliance with standards. You should combine technical understanding (architectures, platforms, solutions design) with service governance and third-party management skills, including risk mitigation and best practices implementation.
Experience in managing the lifecycle of technological services and complex technology contracts is essential. You will work closely with the Outsourced Critical Area Manager in a demanding global environment, providing technical insights focused on resilience and service quality, and collaborating with other technical and business profiles across the bank.
