Whether on the pass or prepping behind the scenes, your attention to detail and commitment to excellence leave a lasting impression—on the plate and on your team.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations including prep, execution, and serviceEnsure each dish meets our standards for taste, quality, consistency, and presentationSupervise and coordinate the daily work of all kitchen staff (CDPs, Commis, Pastry, Stewards) to ensure efficiency and clear communicationLead the kitchen during the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring a smooth and productive serviceContribute to the creation of specials, seasonal menu updates, and event-specific offeringsOversee mise en place procedures, proper food labeling, storage, and stock rotation using FIFO standardsMaintain strict hygiene and HACCP practices, ensuring a clean, safe working environment at all timesAssist with inventory control, stock management, and ordering processes to optimize cost and reduce wasteMonitor food preparation and plating to maintain consistency and meet service timing expectationsTrain, coach, and mentor junior kitchen team members, fostering skill development and a respectful kitchen cultureParticipate in the onboarding and evaluation of new hires within the culinary teamEnsure equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and any issues are reported promptlyMaintain accurate records for production sheets, temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and checklistsFoster collaboration between kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and guest satisfactionLead with passion and professionalism, promoting the brand, energy, and values through your work and team leadershipStay current on culinary trends, plating innovations, and evolving guest expectations to continuously elevate the dining experienceRequired Qualifications and CompetenciesProven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in high-end or high-volume kitchensStrong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environmentDeep knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and HACCP standardsPassion for culinary arts with a commitment to excellence in presentation and flavorAbility to manage a team calmly and effectively under pressureSolid understanding of stock control, prep planning, and kitchen systemsExcellent communication skills and a collaborative, respectful leadership styleFluency in English is mandatory;
