OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for you to join a successful and international team of technically trained support engineers that's delivering day‐to‐day remote telephone support services for Agilent's Life Science and Chemical Analysis customers. Position OverviewRemote Support Engineer, a temporary position with a contract term of 1 year. The position follows a hybrid model where you will be based in one of our offices: either in Milan (Cernusco‐sul‐Naviglio, preferred ) or in Barcelona, and you will partially work from home (2 days a week).
Responsibilities
Identify customer issues and provide a high level of reactive and proactive technical services in support of Agilent's product portfolio.
Ensure customer satisfaction by guiding, assisting, and training users on maintenance and configurations.
Perform remote troubleshooting on hardware and software.
Provide problem resolution to optimize efficiency and uptime availability of customer systems.
Qualifications
University Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences based discipline.
Hands‐on experience (internship, apprenticeship, university projects or first postgraduate experience...) with chromatography and spectrometry analytical techniques such as GC, GCMS, LC, LCMS, HPLC, ICPMS, ICPOES....
Full proficiency in English and Italian.
On a personal level, you are autonomous, outgoing and customer oriented. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team. You have great communications and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners. You show a real can‐do attitude and you like helping others and solving problems. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you also have strong planning and organizational skills .
