Senior Software Engineer - Software Quality Assurance (SQA) - Embedded Software Testing Analog Devices is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Software Quality Assurance (SQA) - Embedded Software Testing to join our Software and Digital Platforms Group. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing SQA integration and test platforms and software development processes for highly integrated Radio ICs and SoC products, collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities Design and implement SQA processes, procedures and pipelines.
Design and implement complex system tests, selecting components and tools based on system requirements.
Develop and maintain Jenkins/GitHub CI and automated test scripts.
Deliver quality software following coding standards with thorough documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and engage with customers to ensure SQA processes meet requirements.
Understand RF/high-speed converter systems and associated test equipment; develop competence in algorithms, calibration and framework system design; become familiar with amplifiers, mixers, PLLs, filters and phase shifters.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering degree or higher in electrical, electronics, computer science or related field.
5+ years of embedded software test development experience; expertise with embedded frameworks and debugging device drivers.
Proven track record of successful product delivery with hands-on approach.
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and tools (JIRA, Git, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins).
Programming languages: C, C#, Python.
DevOps experience: CI/CD with Jenkins & GitHub Actions; Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible); Docker containerization.
Experience working with IC hardware and test equipment (PCB, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power supply).
Hands-on experience developing automatic test systems and Jenkins-regression; experience with unit testing and code coverage tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities to meet deadlines.
Differentiating Qualifications Knowledge of RF ICs, high-speed converters, DSP, algorithms, power management, data communications, control theory, etc.
Experience with NUnit, PyTest, API testing, end-to-end requirement management (e.g., JAMA).
Flexibility to switch task context based on business needs; strong debugging skills.
