The Opportunity
The Junior Admissions Officer is responsible for processing student applications, ensuring the student records system is updated accurately and timely. This administrative role requires attention to detail and team cooperation in a fast-paced environment.
Success Looks Like
* Reporting regularly to the Admissions Manager and providing updates on delegated tasks.
* Maintaining and updating all new and existing student information and files.
* Processing student applications and making eligibility decisions based on established guidelines.
* Using student records systems to process applications efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with Admissions policies.
* Quickly checking the accuracy of student applications and noticing discrepancies.
* Collaborating with Student Recruitment and Student Support teams to maintain high service levels.
* Producing admission data and reports.
* Liaising with academic departments to facilitate the application journey.
* Authenticating official documents for UK and international applicants according to procedures.
* Maintaining knowledge of Admissions policies and guidelines.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
* Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.
* Exceptional writing and presentation skills in English.
* Experience as an Admissions Officer.
