Overview
:
You will be part of Celanese European tax team,and will manage the European Corporate Income tax compliance & reporting and tax planning. This person will report to the Sr. Director Tax, EMEA and potentially lead a team in the future.
Responsibilities:
YOU will be involved in the following tasks:
1. Support the Global tax reporting team on the quarterly tax provisions by closely working with outside consultants
2. Manage with outside consultants preparing quarterly FAS 109 tax provision packages and review of the tax packages
3. Manage and update FIN 48 positions
4. Manage with outside consultants filings of corporate income tax returns in EMEA region
5. Manage tax account reconciliation, quarterly cash tax reporting
6. Manage the timely preparations and reviewing tax journal entries
7. Manage corporate tax accounts in SAP
8. Support tax planning projects with Business, Finance, Treasury and Legal
9. Support Transfer Pricing Department on TP adjustments
10. Support tax planning team on tax modelling and calculation of tax impact of tax planning strategies
11. Liaise with outside consultants

12. Tax accounting knowledge (FAS 109/FIN48/IFRS)

14. Accounting degree
15. English business fluent
16. Strong numerical skills
17. Attention to accuracy, and ability to work under time pressure while balancing multiple tasks
18. Strong communication skills
19. Proactive attitude
20. Strong analytical skills
21. Degree in tax is preferred
22. University degree with at least 7 years’ professional experience in tax accounting in a big 4 firm or in global industry firm
