Job Summary:
As an essential member of our international tax team, the Senior International Tax Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with U.S.
international tax filing requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for streamlining processes to enhance operational efficiency within the tax department.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute compliance processes, focusing on areas such as Earnings & Profits, Foreign Tax Credit, Subpart F income, General Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI), and Foreign-Derived Intangible Income (FDII).
Assist in the ASC 740 tax provision and overall tax accounting processes, encompassing quarterly and year-end reporting, as well as the return-to-accrual processes.
Utilize SAP, BPC, and OneSource Income Tax in tax compliance and reporting. Prepare and/or review U.S. tax forms including 8858, 5471, and 8865 through OneSource Income Tax. Ensure the maintenance of the legal entity listing with accurate tax classifications and an up-to-date legal entity organizational chart.
Prepare and distribute tax packages to controllership, monitor responses, provide assistance to tax package preparers, and follow up on any outstanding responses.
Lead project teams in collaboration with various business units to identify tax-saving opportunities, resolve challenges, and enhance after-tax business outcomes.
Foster a continuous improvement culture and leverage technology tools, such as Alteryx, Excel, and Power BI, to automate and refine tax workflows.
Education & Experience:
Required:
University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5 years Accounting/Finance/Tax Experience. Experience in process automatization with Alteryx and SAP software applications are required. Knowledge of U.S. international tax regulations and compliance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit. Business proficiency in English as the role will report into the U.S. Willing to train the right candidate.
Preferred:
Advanced degree (Masters or JD) and/or CPA preferred.
