The Hapimag Paguera Resort is located on the beachfront. The Resort has 239 apartments, a restaurant, a beach restaurant, a cocktail bar, a supermarket, outdoor pools and an indoor pool.We are looking for a motivated, service-oriented professional to join our team as a Head Chef to cover a temporary sick leave.
What you can expectOverall responsibility for the smooth running of the total quality, service, financial management, operations management and employee aspects of our 3 outlets (including staff canteen) and overseeing 10 chefs.You create, modify and develop recipes, standardizing production to ensure consistent quality.You elaborate, organise, assign and actively participate in the preparation of all dishes and coordinate daily tasks with the kitchen team.You will report directly to Resort Management and the Corporate Food & Beverage Manager.Creation and control of employee duty rosters (in agreement with the resort management)Training of new employees
What you bring alongProven record of achievements in a similar position within the hotel-industry.Good knowledge of English and Spanish as well as in hygiene and HACCP standards.Computer literacy and financial skills in terms of budgeting, forecasting and controlling.Reliability and an independent and goal-oriented way of working
