**Head of Primary/Middle Years Section - Village Hub Lead**

Learnlife is seeking dynamic Primary or Middle Years Head to lead our 6- to 16-year-olds Hub in the Garraf region (Vilanova/Sitges). This role combines instructional leadership, team coaching & collaboration, positive culture building, space development, parent communication & community growth management to ensure the effective and smooth running of one of our Barcelona based hubs.

We’ve built 3 Hubs that host 250 school-aged learners in the greater Barcelona area.
Start date: Full-time from August 18,2025 in St. Pere de Ribes (Garraf, Barcelona area)
**Your Responsibilities**
- Develop a ‘lighthouse’ learning community that inspires a vision for authentic, human-centered learning in a newly opened location.
- Lead the Village Hub project, overseeing its vision, daily operations, systems, team wellbeing, learner support, learning programs, and parent communications, ensuring a vibrant and sustainable learning community.
- Collaborate regularly with the Director of Learning & Innovation, Hubs Venture Director, and other Hub Leads to maintain alignment across hubs.
- Advocate for the resourcing needs of the operation and space logistics.
- Design and develop engaging learning environments tailored to primary and middle years learners.
- Have the capacity to design and execute learning experiences or building blocks as needed.
- Lead with a collaborative mindset, ensuring shared leadership among team members.
- Stay connected and aligned with the broader vision of learning within Learnlife Hubs.
- Assess learner admissions needs to maintain a sustainable balance within the Village Hub.
- Engage directly with learners when needed while coaching the Learning Team in areas such as:
- Goal setting
- Learning experience design
- Instructional practice
- Ensure seamless internal communication through Learnlife adopted platforms.
- Serve as a public-facing representative of the Village Hub:
- Externally: Open Houses, Virtual Information Sessions, Hub Tours
- Internally: Learning Services Team, including space usage
- Act as a key point of contact for parents, providing regular updates on student progress and program developments.
**Your Experience**
- Have been a teacher before with a consolidated experience of minimum 5-10 years.
- C2-level English proficiency is required; you are also proficient in Spanish. Catalan is a nice to have.
- Bring an entrepreneurial mindset, with experience in launching or significantly growing a school or program is nice to have.
- Optimistic mindset, with a love for order and administration.
- Passion for children and their capacity to change the world.
- Ability to act as a coach, mentor, facilitator, and inspiration for both learners and team members.
- Strong emotional intelligence and sensitivity to people’s needs.
- A self-starter who is highly resourceful, self-aware, and adaptable.
- An innovative mindset, capable of drawing from diverse learning methodologies to meet learners' needs creatively.
- A creative individual who integrates personal passions into learning experiences.
