We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Packaging Manager to support a factory start-up phase in Salas, Spain. This is a short-term contract role requiring strong operational expertise and the ability to guide and support on-site teams during a critical ramp-up period.
Key Responsibilities:Provide hands-on leadership and technical support across packaging operationsGuide and support the local supervisor and team in running packaging lines efficientlyOversee and optimise the operation of:4 case packers7 flow packers1 cup filler2 palletisersEnsure smooth coordination of staff and machinery during the start-up phaseTroubleshoot operational issues and implement practical solutions quicklySupport process organisation, workflow efficiency, and team capability building
Requirements:Proven experience in packaging operations within a manufacturing or FMCG environmentStrong hands-on knowledge of packaging machinery and line managementExperience working in start-up or scale-up factory environments is highly desirableAbility to lead, coach, and support supervisors and operational teamsBasic xpzdshu Spanish language skills requiredMust be available on-site in Salas, Spain for the duration of the contract
