**Inventory Management Lawyer**

As a Barclays Inventory Management Lawyer, you will be joining a newly created Legal Inventory Management (LIM) Europe team. You will mainly be developing and maintaining the management of the Europe Laws, Rules, and Regulations (LRR) Inventory. You will also work with stakeholders to embed a new LRR Risk governance and control framework within Barclays’ Europe Legal function. The LIM team will be embedding new roles and accountabilities for Barclays lawyers across the globe in relation to LRR Risk.

**What will you be doing?**
- Assisting in the co-ordination of, maintaining and overseeing the effectiveness of Legal procedures relating to LRR Risk
- Developing, managing, and maintaining the European LRR Inventory and embedding this for Barclays lawyers across the globe
- Creating and producing appropriate MI to be provided to senior governance forums
- Providing assistance to lawyers in Europe on remediation activity relating to LRR risks
- Working with stakeholders across Legal in Europe to identify and prioritise the team’s activities, including taking into account areas needing assistance from the LIM team
- Providing feedback and input required from Legal to Technology for the functionality relating to the LRR inventory database that would be deployed in Europe
- Helping in the preparation and maintenance of LRR Risk-related reporting and assisting with the Legal representation at Europe LRR Risk-related governance and other global forums
**What we’re looking for**:
- Qualified lawyer or equivalent
- Experience working in Legal functions within the financial services sector
- Background in risk controls / managing risk and compliance
- Excellent command of English and able to conduct business in English
**Skills that will help you in the role**:
- Experience and knowledge of Barclays risk and control framework
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders
