Responsibilities Identify and cultivate prospects and/or clientsInitiate and follow up on new business opportunitiesDefine and implement sales plans and work toward sales targetsLead new business meetings and close sales to institutional investors and consultantsLeverage the organization's relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiativesDevelop and maintain relationships with sub-advisors and consultantsAct as a liaison to the investment management groups to ensure active, enthusiastic support of the sales and marketing processCollaborate with Marketing team on product and sales materials to ensure they are current and focused for the applicable presentation, conference, or opportunityWork closely with Rothschild & Co AM team members to further develop sales opportunitiesAssist in the development and launching of new productsComply strictly with regulation and regulatory licensing requirements and with the firm's codes, policies and proceduresMarketing, communication & branding: Organization of local marketing activities, communication, roadshows (webinars) and events, with a satisfying rate of participationKeeping abreast of key market developments and expanding knowledge of different markets and target client baseCollaborating closely with different teams in various locations within Rothschild & Co Asset Management Experience, Skills and Competencies Required Minimum of 6 years of experience in the financial industry, in a similar position in SpainAbility to build long-term, professional relationships that add value to our clients and contribute to the growth of our businessExperience in leading client pitches and closing dealsUnderstand and explain the entire product range (Traditional long-only funds, ESG range, Private equity) to different client typesAbility to work autonomously as well as in a team with an entrepreneurial spirit and a hunter's profileStrong interest in financial markets & investmentsStrong social and communication skillsWorking HereOne reason for the long-term success of our business is the importance we place on being principledIt is this belief that drives both the way we work with our clients and the way we hire, manage and develop our people – and we look for the same qualities from them in returnOur teams reflect the diverse needs of our clients, businesses and the markets we operate in around the world.
