OverviewWe are looking for a Sales Executive with experience in chemical additives to drive commercial growth across Europe, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen strategic relationships with industrial customers. The role combines commercial vision, market analysis, and technical capability within a demanding industrial environment.
Responsibilities
Identify business opportunities with both new prospects and existing customers
Classify and analyse each customer's product assortment to detect needs and opportunities
Estimate the business volume and potential of each relevant market player
Develop and execute an annual strategy focused on acquiring new business and expanding presence across Europe
Monitor the status of current customers, including profitability, sales evolution, and commercial performance
Implement actions to improve margins and growth
Continuously evaluate sales activity and apply price increases when required
Maintain regular contact with customers through calls, meetings, and on‐site visits to identify new growth opportunities
Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing relevant commercial and market information
Combine BI‐generated data with customer feedback and overall market trends to support decision‐making
Conduct periodic business review meetings to identify opportunities
Travel regularly across Europe to maintain close and strong customer relationships
Handle day‐to‐day issues related to finance, logistics, or production that require commercial intervention
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction
Qualifications
University degree or technical qualification in Sciences or Engineering
Proven experience in B2B sales in European markets
Mandatory: previous experience selling chemical additives in industrial environment
Experience in chemical additives companies, specialty chemical manufacturers, technical industrial consultants
Required: French or Italian – high level of proficiency
