As a Transformation Sr Manager, you will ensure that the Forecasting capabilities are developed to meet PepsiCo's needs and align with our journey towards Maturity Level 5, utilizing advanced AI/ML-enabled modeling such as driver-based forecasting. You will work closely with Analytics, Data Scientists, and centralized modeling teams to design, deploy, and evolve forecasting models, including pilots to test new capabilities. Additionally, you will coordinate with peers leading demand planning processes to integrate requirements and processes with forecasting capabilities.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Define & Evolve Forecasting Capabilities: Design the future state and operating model for demand forecasting within IBP (iS&O, iS&OP, iSP), ensuring alignment across planning layers.
* Integrate Advanced Analytics: Incorporate demand sensing, driver-based forecasting, promotions, and NPD modeling into demand planning.
* Own the Forecasting Repository: Maintain a central repository for methodologies, templates, instructions, and process documentation.
* Drive Capability Roadmaps: Develop and execute global and sector-specific demand planning roadmaps to achieve Level 5 maturity.
* Lead Performance Measurement: Create KPI dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations to monitor forecasting effectiveness.
* Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to forecasting capabilities, supporting business cases for efficiency and cost savings.
* Ensure End-to-End Alignment: Translate user and business needs into actionable inputs for digital, data, analytics, and product teams.
* Govern IBP & Process Adherence: Lead cross-functional alignment, stakeholder engagement, and address process gaps in IBP and Demand Planning.
* Enable Collaboration & Best Practice Sharing: Build networks to benchmark and share forecasting best practices globally.
* Lead Key Projects & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage the Europe Forecasting Capabilities project, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Qualifications
What you will need to succeed:
* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate preferred.
* Forecasting & Modeling Expertise: Deep knowledge of demand forecasting, AI/ML, time-series models, demand sensing, promotional forecasting, NPD, and scenario modeling.
* Demand Planning & IBP Experience: Solid background in Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning within FMCG.
* Strategic Thinking & Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze in detail and provide strategic recommendations.
* Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead through influence and collaborate across functions.
* Executive Maturity & Communication: Comfort engaging with senior leadership, with excellent storytelling skills.
* Change & Ambiguity Management: Experience managing complex, evolving environments.
* Cultural Awareness & Sensitivity: Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.
* Mindset & Values: Collaborative IBP advocate, inspiring and engaging others.
* Professional Experience & Language: 10+ years in FMCG, fluent in English.
