Software Engineer – Post Market Quality (PMQ)
Responsibilities
- Handle medical software complaints, safety issues, and product inquiries for software products (on premise, cloud, mobile, apps, etc.).
- Independently manage standard cases through their lifecycle, partnering with senior colleagues for complex or critical safety cases.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the development department and act as technical expert for case resolution.
- Read and understand source code in multiple languages to identify root causes of software malfunctions.
- Consult with senior experts on technical and process-related aspects as needed.
- Communicate essential quality‑related information and support initiatives to stakeholders.
- Use automation and data analytics skills to enhance case handling and monitor product performance data.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or an IT related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering or IT support functions.
- Strong foundational ability to navigate and read source code in multiple languages, and eagerness to learn complex system dependencies quickly.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Automation skills and experience with data analytics are a plus.
