Job Description
We are seeking an Iberia Territory Account Manager for DATASENSING IBÉRICA SAU (a union of Micro Detectors Ibérica S.A.U and the Sensors, Safety, and Machine Vision Business Unit of Datalogic S.r.L.) & DATALOGIC FACTORY AUTOMATION, Stationary Industrial Scanners, and Laser Marking Groups. The candidate will report directly to the Iberia Sales Manager and will be responsible for Machine Vision, Sensors & Safety Product Groups by Datasensing, and Stationary Industrial Scanners and Laser Marking Groups by Datalogic. The role involves coordinating between partners, Datasensing, Datalogic, and end users to successfully close projects and acquire new ones.
Key Responsibilities
* After appropriate training, take full responsibility for selling Machine Vision, Sensors & Safety, Stationary Industrial Scanners, and Laser Marking products within the defined area.
* Manage existing customer relationships and acquire new customers.
* Build long-term relationships with current partners and promote products to new ones.
* Achieve sales targets for the territory.
* Manage contracts and benefit packages.
* Develop and execute account plans, conduct visits, handle price exceptions, manage sales forecasts, monitor sales and KPIs.
* Identify needs for special product requests (SPRs) by engaging technical teams and prioritize customer technical support activities.
* Contribute to developing sales strategies.
* Prepare and deliver presentations at customer sites.
* Travel approximately 50% of the time.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
* Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and verbal).
* At least 5 years of experience with sensors, vision systems, safety, stationary industrial scanners, laser marking products, or in industrial automation.
