From Manpower we are looking for a Cost Analyst to join our client, PPG in Rubí.
Position Overview
The Cost Analyst, part of the GBFS organization, is responsible for maintaining product standard costs and intercompany prices across all ERP systems within the EMEA region. The role supports cost analysis, reporting, internal controls, and audit activities, working closely with manufacturing sites and Business Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Product Costing
* Calculate and maintain quarterly standard costs.
* Analyze raw materials and other cost drivers impacting product costs.
* Support the annual manufacturing rates upload process.
* Ensure intercompany prices are correctly calculated and uploaded.
* Prepare standard cost variance analyses and explanations for stakeholders.
Closing, Audit & SOX
* Support plants during internal and external audits, including system-driven transactions (inventories, Magna Carta, inventory valuation).
* Support monthly closing activities: volumes reporting, Goods in Transit, accruals.
* Coordinate with plants to explain major cost impacts and variances.
* Perform SSPL reclassifications when required due to system limitations.
Inventory Control
* Monitor and report on SSPL and Magna Carta.
* Track inventory losses, analyze root causes, and assess financial impact.
* Participate in annual physical inventory audits.
* Provide remote support for physical inventories at consignment warehouses.

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Interest in ERP and financial systems (e.G. SAP, Oracle).
* Affinity with manufacturing and production environments.
* Hands-on, proactive, and independent working style.
* Strong communication skills.
* Advanced English (written and spoken).
