Building new customers for our industry-leading online business intelligence and data services in the nicotine and cannabis spaces; B2B sales oriented
Responsibilities
* Developing contacts within key target groups both through cold / warm calls and face-to-face meetings, understanding their business needs and listening in order to develop solutions to the problems they face;
* Travelling to attend international conferences and trade shows in the sectors covered to build contacts and brand presence;
* Generating leads, setting up meetings with potential clients, attending meetings or conference calls (alone or together with the Sales Director and/or Managing Director where relevant) to develop new subscribers;
* Building and maintaining relationships, managing their renewal process for a wide range of existing customers;
* Developing strategies to maximise monthly sales revenue, including new products and approaches;
* Achieving personal and team sales targets.
Qualifications
* A graduate, with some experience in sales (preferably B2B, but otherwise general sales);
* Commercially minded, ambitious and motivated to succeed;
* Good with people, building relationships and rapport with senior decision makers;
* Keen to build a career and develop their potential in the high-growth data service sector;
* A great communicator, fluent in English (all communication with clients and internally is done in English);
* Organised, comfortable using online tools such as CRM, and methodical in their approach to sales;
* A self-starter, keen to improve and enlarge their role in the company.
