Job Summary Vice President (VP) of SAP Professional Services is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing SAP consulting and implementation services, ensuring client success, and driving business growth. This role includes full P&L (Profit & Loss) accountability, requiring a strategic leader who can optimize financial performance while delivering high-quality SAP solutions. The VP will work closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to enhance service offerings and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & P&L Accountability: Own and manage the P&L for SAP professional services, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
Develop and execute a strategic vision for SAP service delivery aligned with business objectives.
Optimize pricing models, resource utilization, and operational efficiency to maximize margins. Monitor financial performance, budgets, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Build and execute a long-term strategic plan that positions Strada as a leader in SAP Professional Services Service Delivery & Client Success.
Oversee the execution of SAP implementation, migration, and support projects. Ensure projects meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and stay within budget.
Establish best practices, methodologies, and frameworks for SAP service excellence.
Team Management & Development: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of SAP consultants, project managers, and solution architects. Drive talent acquisition, retention, and skill development to maintain a competitive edge. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Efficient Allocation and Utilization: Ensure optimal allocation of resources to projects based on skill sets, availability, and project requirements to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
Capacity Planning and Forecasting: Implement robust capacity planning and forecasting techniques to anticipate resource needs, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Client Relationship & Engagement: Serve as an executive sponsor for key SAP clients, ensuring strong relationships and long-term partnerships. Address escalations, resolve challenges, and drive customer satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning SAP solutions with their business goals.
Sales, Business Development & Growth: Work closely with sales and pre-sales teams to support SAP solution selling and proposal development. Identify and drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. Expand service offerings by identifying new market trends and SAP innovations.
Partnerships & Industry Engagement: Collaborate with SAP and other strategic technology partners to enhance service capabilities. Stay updated on SAP product innovations, cloud transformation trends, and industry best practices. Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and executive meetings.
Required Qualifications & Experience Experience: 15+ years of experience in SAP consulting, implementation, or professional services.
7+ years in a senior leadership role, managing large-scale SAP engagements.
Proven track record of P&L management, revenue growth, and financial accountability.
Strong knowledge of SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Deep understanding of P&L management, financial planning, and cost optimization.
Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Education & Certification Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
SAP certifications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, SAP Solution Manager) are a plus.
