Job Summary
Purpose
Manage production team to deliver the planned production meeting time and specifications, in respect of the cost and safety.
Responsibilities
* Health & Safety at all time, by encouraging safe behaviors, safe culture & leadership, and implementing and controlling strict and efficient QHSE processes to follow group standards and local regulations.
* Develop and utilize KPIs for decision making.
* Manage the complete scope of activities linked to production. Interact permanently with maintenance, quality, process, supply chain, sales and controlling.
* Set and plan resources and investment projects for the production department in order to ensure manufacturing activity and satisfy sales needs.
* Elaborate the budget and follow up cost of production in collaboration with other functions.
* Lead the production team to improve the skills and competencies of production people and drive employee engagement to fulfill business needs.
* Lead and roll out continuous improvement processes / methodologies to develop lines performance.
* Benchmark with other Plants and other companies in order to find new ways of improvement.
Job Specifications :
* Engineering degree (Industrial Engineering / Chemical Engineering)
* 5+ years of production experience
* Previous experience leading a production department is required
* Previous experience in minig or cement industry will be a strong asset
* Experience with SAP
* Safety first mindset
* Strong organizational and managerial skills
* Experience in the implementation of Lean methodologies in industrial environment
