Experteer Overview In this role you will design and implement cloud-native data solutions, primarily on AWS, enabling scalable data platforms and governance. You will work within Santander Digital Services to support a customer-centric transformation and modern data architecture. You’ll lead end-to-end data pipelines, leverage distributed processing, and apply DevOps and security-by-design practices to deliver reliable, business-oriented outcomes. - Design and implement cloud-native data architectures on AWS and multi-cloud environments
- Operate large-scale data platforms including batch/streaming processing and data governance
- Develop PySpark/Apache Spark pipelines with performance tuning and fault tolerance
- Apply modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, test automation, code quality)
- Build API-driven, event-driven data and application services via microservices
- Design and orchestrate data pipelines using Airflow, AWS Step Functions or similar tools
- Leverage managed AWS services and assess trade-offs between managed vs. custom components
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation and maintain DevOps pipelines
- Apply security-by-design principles (IAM, encryption, secrets management)Responsabilidades
- Hands-on leader with end-to-end cloud/data solution delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication to explain complex architectures to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives
- Experience in planning, prioritization, budget tracking and vendor coordination (preferred)
- Relevant degree (preferred)
