Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, I will assist and assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the Front of House department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. I will assist in ensuring that all set policies, procedures, and best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.
I will support the Front Desk Supervisor and focus on the rejuvenation of the room experience. Room amenities, services, and products will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
I will have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort including types of rooms available as well as their location and layout, selling status, rates, and benefits of all package plans, and the credit policy of the hotel and reservation coding. I understand the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows. I will update the guest history and profile system as required.
I will welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the resort, engaging with them immediately upon stepping out of transfers. I will be in sync with the guest journey and at all times, act as a Six Senses Ibiza ambassador, constantly engaging with all guests in the lobby and/or across the resort.
As a Bell & Door Attendant, I will deliver and pick up guest luggage and requested items accordingly, based on standards and procedures, in a timely and efficient manner. I will ensure guest belongings are handled with utmost care and discretion, respecting guest privacy to its maximum.
In this role, I will verify private transfers for arriving guests, in-house guest transfers when going to off-resort activities or restaurants, transfer disposals, and departing transfers, ensuring the driver arrives 10 minutes before the arranged time, is in optimum condition for the trip, and that the vehicle's conditions are up to ultra-luxury standards, including the proper placement of amenities in the vehicle.
I will ensure cleanliness and maintenance of buggy(s) and/or vehicle(s) assigned to the department, verifying status on a daily basis and using the right tools and equipment.
I will possess a valid Driving License for cars in the country of the resort's operation with the purpose of handling Valet Parking services, driving guest and visitors' cars with utmost care, preventing any potential damages to the vehicles. I will perform any additional tasks given by the Bell/Door Captain or above in the organization.
Skills and Experience
To execute this position, I have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess a minimum hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school and more than two years' experience in a similar hotel operational role.
I am personally involved and visible with excellent organizational skills, capable of providing focused direction and continuing to establish the property's prominent position within the market.
In terms of frontline rooms management, I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence, and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer.
Technical skills include advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including Micros POS, Opera PMS, and CRM platforms. I have knowledge of hotel/resort policies regarding reservations, discounts, and detailed procedures in handling local and overseas room bookings.
I have an excellent command of written and spoken English and some knowledge of the local language and customs.
I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines, rules and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities, and services.
