One of the better automotive companies around the world is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Architect & Chief Data Officer to lead the design and implementation of their overall IS-IT architecture, with a strong focus on data.
**It is necessary to have proven experience working with end clients in Manufacturing projects (automotive, pharma, aerospace...).
This role will play a critical part in driving the company's overall business success through effective use of technology and data. The successful candidate will ensure the success of the global migration from the systems of the parent company to their own ecosystem, managing both the target architecture and the necessary transition.

What you'll do:
As a Chief Architect & Chief Data Officer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing an overarching IT architecture strategy that includes infrastructure, applications, data, and security. You will communicate this strategy to stakeholders, ensuring it aligns with business goals. Your role will involve leading the design and development of scalable, secure IT systems that meet organisational needs. Staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends will be key to identifying opportunities for innovation within your remit. Providing technical oversight to other IT teams will also fall under your purview.
* Define and implement the overall IT architecture strategy for the company, including infrastructure, applications, data, and security
* Communicate the IT architecture, cloud & data strategy and plans to stakeholders
* Ensure alignment of the IT architecture with the overall business strategy and goals
* Lead the design and development of scalable and secure IT systems that meet the needs of the organisation
* Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the IT architecture
* Provide technical oversight and guidance to other IT teams
What you bring:
As a Chief Architect & Chief Data Officer, you bring a wealth of experience working in complex multi-country, multi-cultural environments. Your strong technical background spans various IT technologies including infrastructure, applications, data, and security. You have proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale complex IT systems. Your leadership skills enable you to effectively manage teams of IT architects and data engineers. You possess project management experience with a track record of managing large-scale IT projects. Your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively articulate IT architecture & data strategies.
* Strong experience working in complex multi-country, multi-cultural, matrix environments
* Strong technical background in various IT technologies, including infrastructure, applications, data, and security
* Experience in designing and implementing large-scale, complex IT systems
* Leadership skills to lead teams of IT architects and data engineers
* Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate IT architecture & data strategy
