We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to support commercial activities by providing strong technical expertise within ingredient-based solutions. This role bridges technical and commercial teams, delivering tailored solutions to customers while ensuring business objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support
- Act as a technical partner to the commercial team
- Contribute to achieving sales targets for assigned accounts
- Participate in customer meetings to address technical queries and propose tailored solutions
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and product positioning strategies
2. Technical Expertise
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of ingredient-based solutions, including areas such as:
- Flavour systems and extracts
- Natural-derived ingredients
- Functional ingredients (e.g. texturizers, fibres)
- Colour solutions
- Understand product functionality, formulation behaviour, and application across different end products
3. Customer Solutions
- Translate customer requirements into feasible formulation solutions
- Support product trials, reformulation projects, and product launches
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate technical documentation and samples
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal technical, quality, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure feasibility and compliance
- Align with relevant stakeholders to meet customer and market requirements
5. Market & Product Insights
- Monitor trends in ingredients, formulations, and customer demands
- Provide input on innovation opportunities and product improvements
6. Training & Support
- Deliver xcskxlj technical training to internal teams and partners
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and sales support materials
Profile
- Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field
- Experience in technical sales, applications, or product development within the ingredients or formulation space
- Strong understanding of flavour systems, functional ingredients, or related categories
- Customer-facing experience with the ability to translate technical concepts into commercial solutions
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
