Job Description: Located at our site in Barcelona (Spain) and reporting to the Distribution Center Manager, your main mission will be to:
* Coordinate and supervise resources assigned to manufacture our products, ensuring quality, service, and cost requirements are met to satisfy customers and guarantee a safe workplace.
* Ensure machines and equipment operate correctly according to the daily production plan, service, and quality standards.
* Lead a team of operators to guarantee daily activities.
* Be accountable for EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards on the shop floor.
* Update relevant databases to report daily KPIs (safety, quality, productivity, service, etc.).
* Train operators to improve operational standards.
* Contribute to meeting DC metrics and targets, especially productivity, cost, and delivery.
* Coordinate with the DC Planner and other functions like Shipping and CSR for production plan adjustments.
* Ensure quality checks are performed and promote quality awareness within the team.
* Act promptly on breakdowns or deviations, reporting defects to superiors.
* Lead daily improvement meetings, staff meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Monitor and execute actions from the improvement plan.
Qualifications:
* A mechanical engineering background or master's in Production Management or similar.
* At least 2-3 years of successful experience.
* English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
* Hands-on approach.
* Methodical, organized, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
* Comfortable interacting with QA, Supply Chain, and other departments.
Note: The position involves morning and afternoon shifts.
