Job purpuse
Global Product Marketing Lead – Straumann Digital Platform is responsible for driving the market expansion and commercial success of Straumann AXSTM Platform – a cloud based platform at the core of the Straumann Integrated Digital Ecosystem. It provides a modular, open and secure environment, enabling convenient and seamless dental treatment workflows that deliver an elevated customer experience. This position will play a key role in driving the next generation of Straumann digital solutions, supporting the long-term strategic aspirations of the fast-growing CCS business.
The Global Product Marketing Lead - Digital Platform will lead the commercialization and growth of the digital platform business by understanding customer and market needs by collecting voice of customer (VOC) and voice of market (VOM), by developing the digital platform marketing strategy, business model, value propositions, go to market for the different customer segments, and by driving the customer adoption and business growth closely liaising with the group’s Business units, Technology organization, Brand and other stakeholders in a fast moving, high growth, matrix organization. The role will focus on commercialization of the Straumann AXSTM digital plat-form and will collaborate with a team of experienced colleagues in product management, software development, sales and marketing from several business units and regions in a highly collaborative effort to grow the Platform business and customer adoption exponentially.
This newly created position reports to the Head of Product Marketing – CCS. The role is global in scope, based in Madrid, Spain, and requires significant presence in the countries with approximately 30-40% travel required.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities

* Define a coherent (connect-the-dots) marketing vision and strategy for the Straumann AXSTM Digital Platform seamlessly fitting with the product marketing of the growing net-work of digital solutions which comprise the Straumann Integrated Digital Ecosystem
* Develop and implement go to market approaches for different market segments including General Practitioners, Specialists, Dental Service Organizations and Universities
* Co-develop value proposition, sales- and marketing plans, campaigns and selling tools, develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to promote platform features, up-dates, and user benefits
* Collaborate with Product management, UX, Technology and Marketing teams to launch new platform capabilities with tailored messaging and positioning
* Lead and manage market and customer research activities to uncover pain points and opportunity areas, work with analytics and UX to map user journey and improve conver-sion paths, and translate insights into actionable marketing initiatives
* Identify and prioritize growth levers through funnel analysis and A/B testing (acquisition, activation, retention, referral, revenue)
* Develop onboarding and lifecycle marketing programs to drive user engagement and re-duce churn, and actively use performance dashboards to track KPIs like sign-ups, active users, feature usage, ARR, etc.
* Create and implement new business models to lower barriers to entry, drive market penetration, long term profitability and accelerated customer adoption of the platform
* Lead and be accountable for the commercial readiness of new product / feature launches, in collaboration with an extended supporting team
* Collaborate with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders concerning product / feature launch, development and commercialization
* Develop and maintain domain expertise on new technologies and intelligence on market development and competitive landscape
* Drive close collaboration with colleagues in various global subsidiaries to develop coun-try-specific commercialization strategies and share best practices
Education And Experience
* Master’s degree in life sciences, engineering or business
* Minimum 5 years of total professional work experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience of proven success in marketing and growing digital platform business in a fast paced organization, B2B experience preferred
* Strong conceptual & analytical capability to craft a compelling platform vision and strategy using proven strategic frameworks, quantitative and qualitative analysis
* Strong project management skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally
* Excellent knowledge of digital platform / SaaS business and product marketing
* Excellent communication, storytelling and marketing presentation skills
* Experience in a leading strategy consulting company preferred
* Experience in a leading tech platform company preferred
* Experience in the med-tech or dental industry preferred
* Experience in managing SaaS product development projects from concept to launch pre-ferred
* Fluent in English; other languages are an asset
* Comfortable with up to 30-40% travel
