We are seeking a Motivated Deckhand to join our dynamic crew on a busy charter 43-meter motor yacht. As a deckhand, you will be essential to the daily operation of the yacht, assisting with guest services, maintenance, and ensuring the safety of all onboard. Responsibilities:
* Assist with the safe operation of the yacht, including docking, mooring, and navigation.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all exterior and guest areas, ensuring the yacht is always in pristine condition.
* Assist with the operation and maintenance of onboard equipment, including tenders, jet skis, and other water sports gear.
* Provide excellent customer service to guests, offering assistance with water activities, loading/unloading luggage, and ensuring overall comfort and safety.
* Carry out routine checks on the yacht’s systems and ensure safety equipment is always in good condition.
* Support the deck team with daily maintenance tasks, including polishing, varnishing, and deck upkeep.
* Assist the captain and senior crew members in all aspects of yacht operation, ensuring smooth running of the vessel during charters.
* Be vigilant about safety and emergency procedures, ensuring guests and crew are always protected.
* Help prepare the yacht for charter and assist in post-charter cleaning and maintenance.
Minimum 18 months experience as a deckhand.
