ABOUT THE ROLE

Power Factors is seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our growing Global Sales Engineering team. This role involves working closely with Account Management, Sales, Business Development, and Product teams to deliver proposals and messaging to customers. You will be the primary technical contact throughout the sales process, responsible for understanding customer requirements, developing proposals, and conveying solutions effectively. Post-sale, you will coordinate with engineering and customer success teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

You will be responsible for building relationships, ensuring a positive customer experience from initial engagement through contract signing, and developing tools and processes to enable scaling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Coordinate technical aspects of commercial discussions and interpret project documentation.
* Develop and present proposals in response to RFPs/RFQs.
* Manage scope, identify gaps, and align roadmaps between Sales and Product teams.
* Maintain product databases and engage with vendors for pricing and availability.
* Design system architecture including plant network, control, data acquisition, and integration with other systems.
* Enter customer and project data into CRM and manage documentation.
* Deliver sales presentations tailored to audience needs.
* Represent Power Factors at industry events and trade shows.
* Coordinate project hand-offs internally.
* Address complex problems and prioritize effectively.
* Contribute to process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* 3+ years experience in technical product/project management, estimation, or IT/networking in renewable and storage industries.
* Experience with OT systems like SCADA, automation, and interpreting electrical/network diagrams.
* Familiarity with CAD or diagramming tools.
* Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
* Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
* Strong communication, technical, and problem-solving skills.
* Autonomous work style and resource management skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

* Experience with DAS/SCADA systems.
* Knowledge of industry communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC standards).
* Technical writing and experience with CRM/ERP systems.
* Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
